Vice President of Astan Quds Razavi's International Affairs: Mazaarat International Photo festival can open new horizons towards the civilizational perspective of these artworks

According to the Astan Quds news website, on Monday evening, Hojjat-ul-Islam Mustafa Faqih Esfandiari, in an interview with reporters, stated that the world and everything that belongs to man is a beautiful example of art and its levels, and said: the whole truth of man is his perception of the world. The highest level of art in human understanding is the intellectual perceptions. He said: From this point of view, we look at art with a sacred eye, because the world with what it has in itself is the act of the Holy Prophet and is a channel through which we could better understand the divine art. The CEO of Astan Quds Razavi Art Institution of Afarineshha also mentioned: The 2nd edition of Mazaarat International Photo Festival will be held with the themes of "Mausoleums, Islamic Mausolea" and "Prayer in Divine Religions". Amir Mahdi Hakimi added: The policymaking council of the 2nd Mazaarat festival took into account the close connection between the city of Mashhad and the blessed existence of Hazrat Reza (a.s.) and the conversations he had with scholars of different religions, and decided to expand the interreligious relationships of the festival. Therefore, the Prayer category has been changed to Prayer in divine religions. Stating that the power of Astan Quds Razavi will be used to communicate and inform the beginning of the 2nd edition of Mazaarat Festival and to attract as many photographers as possible, he said: We hope to witness a significant growth in participation in this festival and expect to receive a diverse collection of artworks, competent enough to be judged, like the 1st edition. The CEO of Astan Quds Razavi Art Institution of Afarineshha (Artistic Creations) continued: Islamic mausolea, such as the tombs of religious leaders and scholars, thinkers and religious leaders, have always been the cause of change in the Islamic world and in many places, the origin of the formation of civilization and the extension of the identity of nations. Submissions of the works of the 2nd Mazaarat International Photo Festival will begin on May 6, and continue for 40 days, after which the judging process will begin and finally, the closing ceremony will be held on July 1. In the 1st edition of Mazaarat Festival, eight thousand and 127 photos from one thousand and 168 photographers, from 33 countries of the world reached the secretariat, of which 6 thousand and 294 photos were from Iran and the rest from other countries.
